Perfect Fall Wedding.

I met John and Rebecca at a local Starbucks on a rainy winter afternoon. I remember how excited they were to get the major items checked off their wedding To-Do list. I was so excited to hear they booked The Grand LV in Niles, Michigan for their wedding day. A venue I've shot at several times and absolutely love. If you're a light and airy photographer then you would be in heaven.

Fast forward to the morning of the wedding. The sun is shining, girls are getting ready and the groomsmen are setting up tables downstairs in the reception area. I don't think I've ever been to a wedding where I've seen the groomsmen dressed and ready early for photos. Most of the time, groomsmen need a little encouragement. ;-)

Rebecca had so many beautiful things for her detail shots. She had earrings from an older relative, AMAZING shoes, a gorgeous ring set and a small vile containing her father's ashes. Rebecca and her sister, Jennie, added the pieces to their bouquets. It was a way to honor their father's memory on a special day. The weather was perfect. The day went so smooth and both Rebecca and John had the biggest smiles on their faces. It was an honor to be a part of their day. I still can't get over how beautiful their day was.
